We have recently invested in an incredible new bathing system for our grooming clients. It uses gentle pressure to penetrate the dog’s coat, which effectively removes dirt, grime and dander. The motion of the water on the skin also has a therapeutic effect, and stimulates the sebum (oil) glands in the skin, resulting in a healthier, shiny coat! Our groomers AND the dogs love it! It is really beneficial for those dogs who shed excessively.
We’ve also added a hydrotherapy whirlpool bath system as well-basically a hot tub for dogs! Currently this service is only available in our new spa packages for small and medium sized dogs. We will be able to accommodate larger dogs in the near future. This is great for those furry ones with arthritis, hip dysplasia, etc., or just those pampered pooches who love to be spoiled!
While attending educational seminars this spring, we discovered some amazing luxury spa shampoos, ultra-hydrating coat treatments and all-natural conditioners which we are now utilizing in our spa. Not only are they healthy for your pet’s coat, but they will also leave him smelling clean and fresh for weeks after his grooming appointment! We even offer “pawticures” for your canine companions-doesn’t that sound relaxing?
We recently attended the International Association of Canine Professionals in California! Our Fantastic pack leader, Monica, had a chance to work with the one and only Cesar Milan a.k.a. the Dog Whisperer!
