Boarding Requirements
Age: We accept non-aggressive indoor house pets over the age of three months who have been approved for boarding membership. If your dog is younger than three months, give us a call to discuss. We occasionally make exceptions to the age rule for special cases.
Boarding Agreement: We must have a boarding application/agreement on file prior to boarding your dog. Click HERE to fill out an online boarding agreement for your dog. We’ll need a copy of your dog’s vaccination records faxed from your veterinarian to this number: 816-364-0236 . Once we’ve received your information, we will give you a call to set up an interview to meet you and your pet!
Vaccinations: We require that all pet owners provide a veterinarian receipt to prove the dog is current on the following:
Distemper (DHLPP), Rabies, and Bordatella (Kennel Cough, every six months)
Spay/Neuter: All dogs over the age of six months must be spayed or neutered.
Medications and Veterinary Care: We are Red Cross Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. If your pet requires medication, please provide a detailed list of medications and dosages and we will be glad to administer what is needed. Please note that medications need to be in the original bottle dispensed by your veterinarian. we will gladly administer insulin injections for an additional charge of $3 per day.
Special Needs and Geriatric Pets: We appreciate and cater to guests with special needs. Geriatric pets, physical handicaps, medical conditions/medication, separation anxiety, special diets or allergies, fear of thunder or fireworks…the list goes on and on! Additional fees may be required, depending upon severity of needs. Please make sure to mention these special needs on the application.
